Privacy Policy

What we collect. When you buy a check: the vehicle registration you enter, your email address, and payment confirmation from Stripe (we never see or store card numbers). When you browse: standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.

What we do with it. We use the registration to compile your report from DVLA, DVSA and Experian AutoCheck, and your email address to deliver the report and respond to queries. We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

Data we query. Vehicle history data relates to the vehicle, not to identifiable individuals. Keeper counts and dates come from DVLA records; no names or addresses of previous keepers are included in reports.

Retention. Order records (registration, email, report content) are retained for up to 24 months for support and legal purposes, then deleted.

Processors. Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), One Auto API / Experian, DVLA and DVSA (vehicle data).

Your rights. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to hello@caravancheck.co.uk.
